Which Hogwarts professor are you?

A long table on a dais in a candlelit stone hall, six empty carved chairs behind it, a wand at each place, candles floating under a ceiling of stars.

Not which subject you'd teach. What you'd do for a student when it costs you something.

Ten questions, six professors, about three minutes. Answer as yourself, and the one who would have made the same call is yours.

All seven books and all eight films count. Some results say what happened at the end.

The six

Albus Dumbledore: The headmaster who left a baby on a doorstep with a letter, and explained why once the boy was old enough to shout at him.

Minerva McGonagall: Transfiguration. Signs the letters in emerald ink, and once spent a whole day on a garden wall as a cat to argue with him about that doorstep.

Severus Snape: Potions, then Defence, then the headmaster nobody wanted. Took a point from Harry for his cheek in the first lesson and never warmed up.

Rubeus Hagrid: Keeper of Keys and Grounds. A pink umbrella with a wand hidden in it, and a hut at the edge of the Forest with a boarhound asleep on the step.

Remus Lupin: Defence, for one year. The best the school had at it, and the one who resigned before anyone could sack him.

Sybill Trelawney: Divination. Incense, a tower room, and a death predicted every year that never arrives.

Six Hogwarts teachers, one of them yours

No trivia, no favourite subject, no house. Ten questions about what a teacher does when it costs them something, drawn from all seven books and all eight films, and the professor who would have made the same call you did is the one you get.
